CCDI Grant Webinar: Higher Education (Oct. 22)
Join the Library of Congress to learn more about the Connecting Communities Digital Initiative (CCDI) grant opportunity for higher education institutions, part of the new "Of the People" initiative at the Library of Congress supported by an institutional grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The Library of Congress seeks to award a grant to a 2-year or 4-year minority-serving higher education institution. These include Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions (ANNHs), American Indian Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs), Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Native American-Serving, Nontribal Institutions (NASNTIs), and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs).

The Library of Congress will award one grant for up to $60,000 to a minority-serving higher education institution to support the development of a digital interface, publication, exhibit or experimental approaches to bringing digital Library of Congress material together with a course, program, or interest group that will make use of the product for educational purposes.

During this webinar, Library of Congress staff will discuss the program, describe the application process and address questions about the grant opportunity for higher education institutions.
